WAT PHRA KAEW

Also spelled Wat Po, is a Buddhist Temple complex in the Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok, Thailand. It is on Rattanakosin Island, specifically south of the Grand Palace. Apart from its huge collection of Buddha statues, it’s also known for its huge reclining Buddha which draws visitors from all over Thailand, and all over the world. This is one of the major attractions in Bangkok for both tourists and Thai people alike. The Wat Pho is also one of the world’s oldest public universities, and provides an official seat for the practice of traditional Thai massage.

WAT ARUN

"The Temple of Dawn" is a Buddhist temple in Yai area of Bangkok, Thailand, on the Thonburi west bank of the Chao Phraya River. Wat Arun is among the most recognizable and memorable landmarks of Bangkok’s skyline & the principal light of the morning reflect off the surface of the temple with silvery luminosity. The most spectacular view of the glittering monument can be seen from the east side of the river at sunset as Wat Arun’s colorfully decorated spires sparkle radiantly over the water. WAT PHUKHAO THONG

Wat Phukhao Thong is a magnificent Buddhist temple located in Ayutthaya, Thailand. The temple's name means "Golden Mountain Temple" in Thai, and it is known for its stunning gold-topped chedi or stupa, which rises to a height of 50 meters.The temple was built in the 15th century by King Ramesuan to commemorate his victory over the Khmer Empire. Wat Ratchanadda, also known as Loha Prasat, is a unique Buddhist temple located in the historic district of Bangkok, Thailand. The temple was built in the 19th century by King Rama III to honor his reign and his nephew, King Nangklao.The temple is famous for its distinctive metal spires, which rise to a height of 36 meters and represent the 36 virtues necessary to achieve enlightenment in Buddhism. WAT TRAIMIT

Located toward the end of Chinatown's Yaowarat Road, close to Hualampong Railway Station, Wat Traimit houses the world's biggest gigantic gold seated Buddha estimating about five meters in height and measuring five and a half tons in weight.
